Jufa Hotel Kempten

The food was very good. Dinner had different menus for each day of the week. Breakfast had a variety of fresh food from sausages and bacon to waffles and yoghurt etc. Apple juice was amazing. In proximity of the hotel was a waterpark one outdoors and one indoors. Two seperate entrances. The only thing we didn't like was that you could only enter once per day in the indoor waterpark . Tip* First go to the outdoor pools because you can go in and out as many times as you like and then go to the indoor waterpark . The indoor and outdoor waterpark itself was great. The hotel also had lots of fun activities including bike rental which we didn't have time to try, inside and outside table tennis , trampoline, pool table, table soccer, a cinema and a nice room to relax. The rooms were excelent no sound coming from other rooms , a tv, a locker to keep valuable items, comfortable beds and a big bathroom . Our room had its own balcony . The parking was very close to the entrance which made it easy to carry luggages and bags. The staff was really kind and gave us all the needed information on our stay.

We had a fantastic stay with our two children (7&9). Room as clean and spacious enough for three nights. Great breakfast and the kids loved everything they offered( billiard, cinema, table tennis, kids club) as well as the chance to visit the Cambo Mare and climbing facilities nearby.

A great hotel in the interesting Argovian city of Kempten. The price is excellent for the above standard service, cleanliness, comfort and activities and no price gouging attempts. Fantastic place for families and groups to stay and take advantage of the extra activities included in the price.

I took my three grandchildren ages 5, 9, and 11 for a two night stay. We asked for an early 1400 check-in so that we could be ready for free use of the neighboring waterpark starting at 1600 (just a walk across the parking lot) and it was granted. The room we got was marvelous with huge floor to ceiling windows all around it. It had two beds downstairs and two beds with a canopy upstairs. The water park was very nice with slides, an outdoor heated pool, a diving pool area, and a lazy river. We added the half-board to our hotel reservation and the evening buffet was better than expected. Nice fresh salads, breads, main dishes, desserts and drinks included. The chef in training from Hungry was very hospitable and he made sure the food was prepared and presented well. The lobby has an area where families can play table games and order drinks. There is also three small play areas for children within the hotel. During the day we went to the Schwartzen Lifte Eschach for snowboarding and sledding (13 minute drive from hotel). It is a great place for children and beginning boarders and skiers. Overall a fantastic weekend trip and the price just cannot be beat.

The room was fine. The facilities were fine. If the hotel is full, it can be hard for the kids to take advantage of the "fun" rooms as they will be nearly full with other kids. The kids absolutely loved the water park, of course. This was the big bonus for us. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly and helpful always. The breakfast was fantastic. Our two biggest disappointments, which were really quite big for us: I had checked several times that there was supposed to be a kind of kids program during our stay. This was definitely listed as a hotel that was to have organized childcare/fun activities for the kids. My husband and I booked this stay between our birthdays so that we could enjoy some time to ourselves while the kids were entertained. Unfortunately, at check in, I was told that this had actually not been organized. So, half of the reason that we booked this specific place was no longer valid, and then maybe we would have chosen somewhere different. Our second complaint was the dinner. We had reservations for the 19:00 timeslot. It was an absolute mess. It was complete chaos, full of people, and by 19:00 we basically felt like we were eating the leftovers. Our children had to eat quickly to get to the movie, and at the time we were trying to feed them, many of the dishes were gone. We never got to have soup, for example. It was a completely chaotic and unpleasant experience. Maybe if the meal was cheap or included wine it would have been okay, but at 72 euros for a family to eat ... wow ... it is really hard to swallow paying that much for that experience. I really felt like we should not have paid for that.

I like the fact that they allowed dogs and have green areas around. The beds are very comfortable and breakfast was decent. I didn’t like the fact that our room had a slow drain in the sink and there were pieces of pretzels bellow the beds which our dogs detected immediately,
